The Capacity of a Class of Mixture Semi-Deterministic Relay Channels
نویسندگان
چکیده
The relay channel consists of a transmitter input x1, a relay input x2, a relay output y2 and a receiver output y3. In this report, we combine a degraded semi-deterministic relay channel with a semi-deterministic orthogonal relay channel to obtain a new mixture relay channel. For the new mixture relay channel, a combination of the compress-and-forward strategy and the partial decode-and-forward strategy achieves the capacity.

Polarization of Multi-Relay Channels: A Suitable Method for DF and CF Relaying with Orthogonal Receiver
Polar codes, that have been recently introduced by Arikan, are one of the first codes that achieved the capacity for vast numerous channels and they also have low complexity in symmetric memoryless channels. Polar codes are constructed based on a phenomenon called channel polarization. This paper discusses relay channel polarization in order to achieve the capacity and show that if inputs of tw...
متن کاملSemi-deterministic relay channels with non-causal states only at the Transmitter and Receiver
Semi-deterministic relay channels are considered, with the presence of non-causal channel state information. The states is available only at the transmitter and receiver, but not at the relay. We derive with the capacity for this type of channels. The coding scheme for achieving the capacity of these channels, is a non-causal version of cooperative binning coding scheme. The relay does not expl...
متن کاملDeterministic Capacity of Networks
In this paper we define the deterministic capacity of a network. The deterministic capacity is defined by restricting nodes to transmitting (asymptotically) deterministic functions of the messages in the network. It can be seen as an upper bound on the set of rates achieved by all possible decodeforward coding schemes, in an abstract sense. A key advantage of the deterministic capacity is that ...
متن کاملThe capacity of a class of state-dependent relay channel with orthogonal components and side information at the source and the relay
In this paper, a class of state-dependent relay channel with orthogonal channels from the source to the relay and from the source and the relay to the destination is studied. The two orthogonal channels are corrupted by two independent channel states SR and SD, respectively, which are known to both the source and the relay. The lower bounds on the capacity are established for the channel either...
